Regional Competition Structure

The London Regional League consists of 4 ability groups Novice, Elementary, Intermediate and Advance.

Competitors can enter into any ability group (please ask your coach for your ability level)

Points will be allocated to the top 12 competitors after the conclusion of the preliminary rounds of each qualifying event. A competitor’s best 2 sets of points will count towards the Regional Championships. Competitors have to do a minimum of 2 events to be eligible for the Championships.

The top 12 competitors with the highest total number of points from each group will be offered a place at the Regional Championships. If anyone does not accept their place, the competitor with the next highest score will be invited.

Qualification Ranking Points: 

1st place             15 points

2nd place            12 points

3rd place             10 points

4th place               9 points

5th place              8 points

6th place               7 points

7th place               6 points

8th place               5 points

9th place               4 points

10th place              3 points

11th place               2 points

12th place               1 point

Where there are equal placing’s, equal points will be awarded.

Groups:

Novice – U9, U11, U13, U15, 15+

Elementary – U15G, U15B, 15+L, 15+M

Intermediate – U15G, U15B, 15+L, 15+M

Advanced – Ladies, Men

Where additional groups have been added during the year, these will be added to the above.
